WSC Chapter of the MSCA

I'm posting this as a follow-up of sorts to my confusion over the role this site plays in college discussion.
It appears to me that this site has not, by a long stretch, taken over the role that the Teaching Forum once played at our college. I know there were reasons why the forum had to be replaced, and I have nothing but praise for my friend, Buzz's, effort to give us a home for discussions.
But the site does not appear to have attracted a critical mass of users. The several times I have logged on, I have been the only user.
What do you think?
