Effective 7/1/06, the Base Salary is $37,563.

To this, add for Rank:

To this, add $2,607 for Terminal Degree.

To this, add $459 for each year of Internal and External Experience for both Faculty and Librarians

To this, add $133 for each year of Other appropriate Professional Experience

For example, an assistant professor with terminal degree and no full-time experience would have a salary of $43,728 or more. An associate professor with a terminal degree and seven years' full-time experience would have a salary of $53,351 or more.

Every September, faculty members and librarians are credited with an additional year of internal service, and salaries are adjusted upward if any fall below the minimum.

Please note that new hires may be able to negotiate a starting salary greater than the minimum guaranteed by our contract.
